DM Calibration completes acquisition of Calibration Maintenance & Repair

DM Calibration Limited (DMC) Acquisition of Calibration Maintenance & Repair LTD (CMR).

Norwich, 1st May 2024 – DM Calibration Limited (DMC), specialist in calibration and engineering services, is delighted to announce the acquisition of Calibration, Maintenance & Repair Ltd (CMR), a privately held calibration provider.

CMR was established in 1989 by Phil and Dawn Clark and built successfully over more than 30 years. The acquisition consolidates and expands the broad capability of DMC, providing additional value and a greater range of services and support to its customer base throughout the world.

In the coming months, DMC will seamlessly integrate CMR into its group whilst preserving its autonomy, expertise, character and highest level of service. We aim to keep communication high as we believe this is key in fostering long and mutually beneficial relationships with our customers. 

Through this acquisition CMR’s customers will benefit from DMC’s extensive and unique offering, including same day mobile calibration, United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) and National Traceable laboratory and on-site Calibration, and Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and Safety Equipment supply. This will bolster our ability to deliver innovative solutions and exceptional service to our existing customers and prospective customers. We will continue to ensure we deliver and tailor our service to meet our customers’ specific needs.

CMR provides a comprehensive calibration service with a wide scope, offering both UKAS (0654), and National Traceable certification, in house and onsite.  The scope of calibration is unique and CMR are the go-to provider and experts in the calibration of Accelerometers, Charge Amplifiers, Vibration Controllers, Sound Level Meters, Helicopter Balancers, Spring and Impact Hammers. 

To better serve our customers throughout the UK, in addition to its facility in Norwich, CMR has a Calibration Laboratory in Gateshead which specialises in Pressure, Temperature as well as General Instrumentation.
